  • Cooperation between the College of the North Atlantic and Lufthansa Technical Training. Lufthansa Technical Training is supporting the EASA certification of the Aircraft Mechanic vocational training in Canada.

  • Lufthansa Technical Training acquires three BO105 helicopters for training purposes. Knowledge and skills concerning structures and systems conforms to EASA regulations.

  • Cooperation with Swiss Aviation Training SAT
  • Lufthansa LAN Technical Training (LLTT) receives Chilean ISO 9001 (NCh 2728. Of 2003) certification from the Instituto Nacional de Normalizacion (INN) of Chile.
  • Lufthansa Technical Training is promoter for the funding of the vocational further training in accordance with the labour promotion law and receives the certificate of the "Hanseatische Zertifizierungsagentur HZA" [Hanseatic Certifying Agency].
  • The production site of Lufthansa Technical Training Singapore (LTTS) is opened.

2004
  • Lufthansa Technical Training and personnel service provider Manpower GmbH & Co. KG found the organization AviationPower GmbH in Frankfurt.
  • Lufthansa Technical Training receives the EASA Part-147 Approval Certificate from the German Federal Aviation Office.
  • In Frankfurt, Lufthansa Technical Training moves its Training Center to the Main Airport Center at the Frankfurt airport.
  • The production site of Lufthansa Technical Training Philippines (LTTP) in Manila is founded.
  • Lufthansa Technical Training and the British Columbia Institute of Technology (BCIT) of Canada sign a cooperation agreement.
2003
  • The joint venture Lufthansa Resource Technical Training Ltd. (LRTT) is founded in Great Britain. In November 2003, Lufthansa Technical Training receives the JAR 147 certification for LRTT.
2002
  • Lufthansa Technical Training expands it product portfolio: Management Trainings are now part of the course offerings of the company.
2001
  • For Lufthansa Technik, Lufthansa Technical Training trains aircraft mechanics, toolmakers, machinists and management assistants in office communication.
  • Sales office in Singapore is opened.
2000
  • Lufthansa Technical Training expands its training capacities: The Hamburg Training Center is rebuilt.
1999
  • As the world's first company, Lufthansa Technical Training receives the certification under JAR 147 and thus is authorized to train and test certifying staff for MRO operations in accordance with the statutory requirements of European aviation. JAR (Joint Aviation Requirements): Statutory regulations and requirements of the Joint Aviation Authorities concerning European Aviation.
1998
  • Lufthansa Technical Training opens the Lufthansa Technical Training Taipeh (LTTT) production site in Taipei/Taiwan.
1997
  • The joint venture Lufthansa LAN Technical Training S.A. (LLTT) is founded. Lufthansa Technical Training's joint venture partner is LAN Airlines S.A., Santiago de Chile.
1995
  • Lufthansa Technical Training is established as wholly owned subsidiary of the Lufthansa Technik AG.
