Lufthansa Technical Training (LTT) is participating at the Hanover Trade Fair for the first time. The fair takes place from 19 to 23 April 2010. At the joint booth "iMove – Training Made in Germany" (hall 27, booth C32), the LTT presents one project in which experiences from aviation have been successfully adapted to other industries. That project is called "Human Factors Quality Improvement Program - HFQ".
Holger Schröder, Manager Strategic Projects (LTT):
"Around 80 percent of all process disturbances, incidents and even accidents across industries result from human errors. In our workshop on "Human Factors Quality Improvement Program", we explicitly move the acting human being in the focus of error prevention measures. Even though the program originally comes from the maintenance industry, we can also adapt the concepts to the needs of manufacturing industry sectors. The realistic goal is the reduction of the error rate. The workshop is intended to present first ideas to possible actions."
A short presentation about the implementation of the HFQ-Programs in the automobile industry will be given by Holger Schröder on Friday, 23 April 2010 at 11.00 a.m. at the Speakers Corner (hall 27, A06).
High quality standards and the knowledge transfer from the aviation industry are the foundation of every training offered by LTT. Varied seminars are already included in the LTT training portfolio, from the technical Basic Training and Project Management courses to the "Production Planning and Control" seminar. Every training can be combined with others and adapted to the needs of the respective customer and industry.
At the LTT booth (hall 27, booth C32), visitors will receive information on customer projects from different industries and on the LTT service portfolio.
