The A320 Family General Familiarisation course is an unlicensed course which gives you an overview about the airframe, the aircraft systems and the engines, as presented in the system description in the maintenance manual. This course can be adapted individually to your personnel and your company within the framework of the official requirements.

Course Outline This course corresponds to the ATA Specification 104, Level I and provides a
brief overview of the major aircraft systems.

Prerequisites Participants must have general knowledge of turbine powered transport aircraft.
 
   
Objectives Upon completion of the course, the partcipant will be able to:
  • Define the general layout of the aircraft's major systems, using proper terminology and nomenclature
  • Identify safety precautions unique to the aircraft type
  • Identify maintenance practices, special tooling and test
    equipment unique to the aircraft type
