From July 24th to 28th two Lufthansa Technical Training colleagues from Hamburg attended this year's meeting of the CACRC (Commercial Aircraft Composite Repair Committee) in Wichita/Kansas. The meeting was hosted by the National Institute for Aviation Research, Wichita State University. At this meeting, composite experts from all over the world meet in various task groups to develop guidelines for standardization and make them effective through the SAE (Society of Automotive Engineers). Lufthansa Technical Training is represented together with the Lufthansa Technik in the Training and Repair Task Group. The aim of this year's meeting was to launch a uniform and standardized qualification concept for aviation. Lufthansa Technical Training has already developed such a concept in cooperation with Lufthansa Technik. This concept presentation was held to a large expert audience.
