LTT and Australian College of Kuwait

LTT expertise in aeronautical training in Kuwait

Lufthansa Technical Training (LTT) and the Australian College of Kuwait (ACK) have concluded a cooperation agreement. The contract was signed by Holger Beck, Chief Commercial Officer at LTT, and Professor Vishy Karri, President of ACK, representing their respective organizations.

Under the agreement LTT will provide EASA CAT B1.1 and EASA CAT B2 training concepts for the basic training program, will run train-the-trainer courses for trainers in Kuwait and will provide access to web- and computer-based training media. LTT will also support the college in carrying out examinations on EASA Part-66 modules (Full Basic Examinations).

Holger Beck, Chief Commercial Officer at LTT:
"This agreement with the Australian College in Kuwait underscores the high regard in which our company and our expertise are held in places such as the Middle East. This is our first step towards contributing to the creation of a local school in this region to provide training for aviation personnel. We are therefore very proud that LTT has been chosen as a partner by the Australian College of Kuwait."

Professor Vishy Karri, President of the Australian College of Kuwait:
"Australian College of Kuwait is proud of this new association with LTT. LTT is a leader in provision of aviation training and ACK, with this cooperation, will now provide quality education to local students. ACK has outstanding EASA accredited facilities for running aviation programs in Kuwait. This cooperation is a definite way forward to addressing much needed quality aviation education in the State of Kuwait."

The first EASA CAT B1.1 course offering LTT expertise has started on February 17, 2013.
