New Chief Executive Officer for Lufthansa Technical Training
Rubin Siddique to succeed Andreas Kaden
Rubin Siddique (45) is to be the new CEO of Lufthansa Technical Training GmbH (LTT). On 1 April, he will take over the reins from Andreas Kaden (59), who is retiring after leading the company for four years. As Chief Commercial Officer, Rubin Siddique has been a member of the Executive Board of LTT since 2013.
Antonio Schulthess, member of the Executive Board of Lufthansa Technik AG and responsible for the LTT holding, commented: "I am pleased that we could win Rubin Siddique for this position. His appointment stands for continuity in the leadership of the company, experience in the field of aviation training, and commercial competence. I am certain that he will lead the company and his staff into a strong and healthy future."
Schulthess thanked the outgoing CEO, Andreas Kaden, saying, "I have great respect for Andreas Kaden, who has consistently and successfully focused the company on the future training needs of our customers in the digital age. I wish him only the very best for this new phase in his life, after thirty successful years in leading positions with the Lufthansa Group."
Before moving to Lufthansa Technical Training in 2013, Rubin Siddique was CEO of Lufthansa Flight Training Berlin and of Lufthansa Flight Training CST, where he had filled various senior executive positions since 1996. He began his career in aviation in 1994 when he joined the Production Planning department of Deutsche Aerospace Airbus (DASA) in Hamburg. He was born in 1970 in Frankfurt am Main and studied electronics engineering and financial controlling at the Technical University of Darmstadt and the University of St. Gallen, graduating as an industrial engineer.
