In December, April Zarate, Sales Manager at Lufthansa Technik Training Philippines, spoke at the Aeromart Summit in Kuala Lumpur on the topic of “Aircraft Maintenance Training for Generation Z.” The focus was on the changing requirements of the next generation of aviation professionals. In addition to providing an overview of the strong growth of the MRO industry in the Asia-Pacific region, the presentation highlighted the importance of Generation Z for securing a long-term supply of skilled workers. The presentation was based on the results of a study on the Maintenance Training Program conducted jointly with Lufthansa Technik Philippines.

The key finding: Target group-oriented, interactive, and practical training formats increase the learning motivation of young employees and make a lasting contribution to employee retention. At the same time, modern learning approaches increase the overall effectiveness of training across generations.
