With an expert from Composite Training, Lufthansa Technical Training was represented at the Commercial Aircraft Composite Repair Committee (CACRC) meeting in Lisbon from April 20^th to 24^th. Together with international specialists, Lufthansa Technical Training contributed to various working groups focused on further developing and standardizing repair, testing, and training procedures for composite materials. One focus was a training program for composite materials that has already been published after several years of development. In close coordination with the FAA and EASA, it was decided that the content will be incorporated into the requirements currently being revised by both authorities. This makes an important contribution to more consistent qualification standards in the MRO environment.

In addition, further standards for training environments in the composite field were prepared. Participation in international expert committees enables Lufthansa Technical Training to monitor regulatory developments at an early stage and incorporate relevant input into the further development of its own training portfolio.
