Lufthansa Technical Training has achieved a major milestone with the award of the Part‑147 approval from the UK Civil Aviation Authority (UK CAA). This certification authorizes the company to deliver approved aircraft maintenance type training and examinations, including Airbus A380 training covering both engine variants. 

At the same time, the EASA- and UK CAA‑approved Airbus A380 Full Type Training Course (B1/B2) was relaunched through a joint effort between Lufthansa Technical Training Philippines and Lufthansa Technik Philippines. The program combines established classroom-based training with modern learning technologies while also reducing overall training duration. 

The relaunch was officially celebrated during an on-site event, bringing together representatives from the participating locations as well as the first group of course participants. Speakers highlighted the strong cross-location collaboration and the strategic importance of the program for the further development of the training portfolio. 

With this dual-certified training offering, Lufthansa Technical Training Philippines further strengthens its role as an international training hub for aircraft maintenance and positions itself as a reliable partner in line with global standards.
