Lufthansa Technical Training Philippines (LTTP) is a direct branch of Lufthansa Technical Training (LTT) Germany, the world's leading non-proprietary provider of training and continuing education programs for employees and managers in the maintenance, repair and overhaul (MRO) industry for aircraft, engines and components in civil aviation. From basic technical training to type-specific advanced training and interdisciplinary continuing education, the company offers all essential training measures for safety-, reliability- and cost-effectiveness-oriented qualification.

As an EASA Part-147 organization, LTTP represents the key training provider primarily for Lufthansa Technik Philippines (LTP) as well as for all other MRO service providers in the region and elsewhere. LTT's customer base, which is comprehensively advised and serviced, includes international airlines, MRO providers, aircraft, engine and system manufacturers (OEMs) as well as suppliers of aviation equipment for civil and military aviation. The LTT Group fulfills this role with operating facilities, joint ventures (JV) and subsidiaries, especially in Asia. Furthermore, it is a shareholder of Aviation Power GmbH, a company for the provision of temporary and contract workers.

Scope of Job

Strategic and operational management of LTTP
Representative, negotiator and responsible decision maker towards external customers, local and international authorities.
Ensuring the certification of the European Aviation Authority as an EASA Part 147 Approved Training Organization.
Ensuring compliance of the Civil Aviation Authority of the Philippines (CAAP) regulations as a CAAP Approved Training Organization.
Ensuring the overall, streamlined alignment and conducting of all maintenance training activities and assuming overall coordination.
Responsible for the legal and commercial aspects of LTTP as the Head of Training

Main Responsibilities

Technical and commercial management of LTTP
Provision and sale of profitable, competitive and flexible training services for the training and further education of aviation technical personnel
Further development of training competencies and concepts as well as the product portfolio according to the requirements of LTP and third party customers.
Ensuring operational stability and reliability by implementing and further developing flexible adaptive processes as well as a partner network.
Compliance especially in terms of accurate and timely annual financial statements in accordance with the Bureau of Internal Revenue (BIR) code.
Ascertain adherence of Philippine Economic Zone Authority (PEZA) regulations.
Managing the operational and strategic corporate development for the innovative, digitized development of new LTTP products and processes.
Coordination of training and development activities in the area of maintenance training.
Creation of an open, cross-functional and cross-company corporate culture that strengthens employee motivation through open communication.
Act as a direct link between the Head office in Germany and the organization in Manila
Directly reports to the LTT Managing Director

Knowledge / Skills / Experience

Completed university degree - Engineering Degree or similar preferable
At least 3 years of management experience on management level and result responsibility (P&L)
At least 5 years of professional business experience in the environment of an independent, international acting company
Extensive aviation training or MRO know-how
Knowledge in the area of Philippine corporate law
Intensive employee and customer orientation / empathy
Intercultural experience
