Shaping the future of aviation maintenance training together

EAMTC General Assembly Meeting

Lufthansa Technical Training contributed its expertise at the 84th General Assembly Meeting of the European Aviation Maintenance Training Committee (EAMTC), held in Bordeaux on June 2 and 3. Together with around 135 participants from the international aviation training community, Lufthansa Technical Training discussed current developments and challenges in aviation maintenance training.

Key topics included digitalization, regulatory developments, and the long-term preservation of knowledge and skills across the industry. A particular focus was placed on the further development of a shared digital platform designed to bring together professional exchange, training opportunities and community activities.

Participants also discussed international cooperation, collaboration with EASA, and innovative training approaches such as virtual reality and AI-supported learning solutions. The next EAMTC meeting is scheduled for late October 2026.
